HDPE Color – Bales
HDPE #2 color bottle bales typically contain laundry detergent, shampoo, bleach and other household cleaning bottles, all blow-molded.

HDPE Crate/Bucket/Other– Bales
An HDPE crate or bucket bale should contain source-separated, 100% post-commercial items that have met their intended use, such as 5-gallon buckets, soda crates and totes. Must be free of metals.

HDPE Mix Natural/Color – Bales
A pigmented/mixed color HDPE bale should contain colored (including white), post-consumer bottles.

HDPE Natural Bales
A natural HDPE bale should contain homopolymer (natural), blow mold grade, post-consumer bottles and be baled separately from mixed color or pigmented bottles which have a separate spec.

HDPE Natural Purge Bales
Bales of HDPE natural purge come from homopolymer (natural), blow mold grade, rejected material from dairy or water jugs.

HDPE Color – Flake
A pigmented/mixed color HDPE post-consumer material is chopped up into small flakes.

HDPE Natural – Flake
Natural, HDPE #2 homopolymer bottle flake generally contains 1 gallon food grade, post-consumer, natural/non-pigmented milk and water bottles.

HDPE Injection Grade Regrind
Injection Grade HDPE includes all rejected parts and dust-sized granules that have been passed through a grinder.
