Rahul Kher

Director of Quality

Rahul Kher joined KW Plastics as Quality Manager in 2022 and built the Quality department from the ground up. He hired 16 employees and designed and built the Quality Lab and Innovation Center for Incoming Raw material and Finished product testing. As of April 2025 – it is ISO 9001:2015 certified and ISO 17025:2017 accredited.

Rahul says that working at KW Plastics feels like being part of a family. The team is super supportive and even though there are difficult days—it helps them to grow together with the company and keep on improving. He is excited about what’s next for KW.

Rahul earned his Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) at the University of Mumbai, and his Master of Chemical Engineering degree at Auburn University. Among his certifications are: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 17025:2017, IATF 16949:2016, LIMS Labware Admin 1 Training, Perkin Elmer FTIR User group.

Rahul is a member of the ASQ (American Society of Quality) and the ASSP (American Society of Safety Professionals) – formerly the ASSE (American Society of Safety Engineers) for which he served as the Treasurer for the Auburn University chapter.

Married to wife Nikita, herself an industrial engineer, Rahul lives in Montgomery, Alabama, and enjoys watching football, soccer, and cricket. He likes to fish on the weekends and try out new restaurants.
