Although KW Plastics and the Sanders Companies are recognized as national leaders in their respective industries, we are so much more than a plastic recycling plant. We are a local leader in community recycling efforts, recycling education, and supporting charities that are vital to our customers. It all started in Troy, Alabama with one truck in 1959. Under the leadership of a couple of “local boys” the two privately owned companies have grown to be the largest private employers for the Pike County area. Read more about our company’s inception and growth here.

While we continue to capture international attention as we expand our operations, KW Plastics is a company grounded in tradition.

We’ve never forgotten our roots. We never will.

KW Plastics understands the importance of community recycling programs and efforts. We are proud to be a corporate citizen and community partner with the City of Troy. We support community recycling efforts and are proud to be a founding member for Keep Troy Beautiful .
